Baker Ruskinn, global pioneers in the manufacturing and marketing of anaerobic and physiological oxygen workstations for use in life sciences research, stem cell biology and microbiology applications, today announces it partnership with I&L Biosystems UK Ltd as its UK Sales Partner, starting 1st April 2018!
Baker Ruskinn is following its global B2B strategy of using highly specialised third party distributors to perform marketing and sales functions. The relationship between Baker Ruskinn and I&L Biosystems GmbH goes back to 1999 when IUL Instruments GmbH as it was known then, began representing Ruskinn in Germany
Over the past few years, I&L Biosystems GmbH adopted a European expansion strategy with the formation of I&L Benelux (LA Biosystems B.V.), very quickly followed by I&L France SAS in 2016. Last year, the company introduced I&L Biosystems UK Ltd. and I&L Biosystems Nordic A/S.
Alexander Beljaars and Jay Champaneri are heading up the UK side for I&L Biosystems UK Ltd after working in the UK Life Sciences market for some years. Baker Ruskinn Sales operations will be led by I&L’s new Sales Manager, Dr Michael Palmowski. Dr Palmowski is a Physoxia specialist and immunologist from the University of Oxford. making him ideally placed to perform the specialised sales role required.
Although I&L Biosystems UK Ltd are responsible for the sales element of Baker Ruskinn, all servicing and technical support will continue to be managed by Baker Ruskinn and customers will continue to call Baker Ruskinn’s Bridgend facility for any technical queries.
2018 is going to be another pivotal year for the Baker Ruskinn brand as it marks the 25th anniversary of Ruskinn Technology Ltd, which was acquired by The Baker Company in 2011. This year Baker Ruskinn will be introducing revolutionary new platforms, widening its offering in allowing true in vivo physiological cell culture. These new physoxia products will come at a price point that does not require the time and effort of obtaining a large capital grant, making mimicked in vivo physiological cell culture accessible to wider range of users.
