The Concept Ax anaerobic workstations builds on a proven foundation of performance, delivering enhanced capacity and control in a compact footprint. Designed to support microbiologists facing increasing sample volumes, the Concept Ax range combines a space-efficient design with expanded plate capacity and intuitive touchscreen control. With stable, strictly anaerobic conditions maintained through its sealed acrylic chamber, integrated palladium catalyst, and advanced interlock system, the Concept Ax range enables reliable primary isolation while maximizing productivity in today’s demanding laboratory environments.
Concept Ax range is ideally suited for variety of applications including clinical microbiology, microbiology and microbiome research, environmental testing, industrial application such as food and beverage, biofuels, and other application areas where obligate anaerobes are cultured.
Increased sample capacity
Increased capacity up to 600 plates (90 mm) in the Concept Ax 600s and 600x, and up to 870 plates in the Concept Ax 800x. The interlock capacity has also increased, allowing 60 or 90 plates to be transferred at a time.
Easy accessibility
Ezee Sleeve™ port systems give direct hand access, and the optional Ezee Cuff allows direct gloveless and sleeveless access. A removable front screen is standard on every unit, so larger items can be placed inside the chamber.
Single Plate Entry System
The Single Plate Entry System (SPES) lets you insert and remove plates instantly, saving both gas and time.
Data logging
Full data logging and transfer for workstation environment validation is now a standard feature. The past week of data is shown on the screen, and all data is saved to a USB key for easy transfer.
