The Baker Company sponsors laboratory equipment for the Biotech Training Facility in Leiden.
Being able to work safely in a laboratory is not a given. Every day, laboratory staff are exposed to hazardous substances. That is why The Baker Company is sponsoring the Biotech Training Facility in Leiden with laboratory equipment that provides safety and protection. Thanks to the sponsorship of three pieces of equipment, training at the BTF can be offered in an even safer working environment.
Highest standard in the industry
The Baker Company’s sponsorship consists of three high-quality products that provide safety for scientists and their research: first, a biological safety cabinet (the BioVanguard – see image); second, an anaerobic workstation/isolation unit (the Sci-Tive); and third, a CO₂ incubator (the ReCO₂ver).
The Biotech Training Facility plays an important role in educating professionals and strengthening the Netherlands’ position in the international life sciences industry. Thanks to the addition of this high-end laboratory equipment, course participants can train using tools that meet the highest standards in the industry.
Judith van der Zwan, Director of Business Development and trainer at Biotech, is therefore very enthusiastic about the collaboration: “This allows us to continue operating at the highest level within biotechnology. This partnership offers the opportunity to jointly invest in the future of safe and innovative work within biotechnology.”
