Baker and Rapp-iso will collaborate to offer innovative solutions for applications in nuclear medicine and oncology.

Baker and Rapp-iso have joined forces to provide innovative solutions for applications in nuclear medicine and oncology. Since early 2023, Baker Company and Rapp-iso have been working together to offer biosafety solutions combined with radiation shielding and measurement technologies to customers in the fields of nuclear medicine and oncology. Their innovative solution, the EuroFlow Nuclear Series Class II Microbiological Safety Cabinet, is used for the production and testing of radioisotopes for therapeutic and diagnostic research.

The first projects have been completed, and both companies recently participated in a major trade fair in Germany where their joint efforts were promoted.

In these projects, Baker’s contribution consisted of the design, development, and production of the lead-shielded safety cabinets, while Rapp-Iso focused on designing, developing, and manufacturing the workspace with measurement equipment and lifts required for producing patient-specific radioisotopes for therapeutic and diagnostic research.
