February is no longer just about Valentine’s day, it’s a whole month dedicated to appreciation, wellness, loyalty and spreading the love… not just in a romantic way! Why shouldn’t we celebrate February in the science world?

As pioneers of products that assist in ground-breaking discoveries in science and clinical care, we have a strong network of academic and industry partners. Collaboration is a crucial part of our day to day roles and underpins the tools we develop as well as the content we produce. That’s why, we’re not letting February pass us by without celebrating our very own ‘valentines’!

More and more, we are seeing skill sets become extremely specialized and as a result, collaboration as a practice becomes more important than ever. In science, there are hundreds of benefits when it comes to sharing knowledge with other researchers’ even if they have a different mission or objective. Just because you reach a roadblock in a certain project, it doesn’t mean that it’s wasted knowledge… this could be the breakthrough that somebody else is struggling to find and a simple collaboration can make time and energy in the lab more efficient.
