USP General Chapters
USP General Chapters <795>, <797>, <800>, and <825>
On September 23, 2019 USP issued a notice of intent to revise from their Compounding, Chemical Medicines Monographs 4 expert committee. The new launch date of USP <800> is yet to be decided with the latest ‘official date’ of December 1, 2019 being delayed.
This delay has been caused by an appeal on certain revisions in <795>, <797>, and <825> which were published on June 1, 2019.
In accordance with USP’s Bylaws and the formal appeals process the official date must be postponed while an appeal is pending. At present, this is until further notice.
