Looking Back at WoTS 2026: Innovation, Connections and a Great Week in Utrecht

Last week, The Baker Company had the pleasure of exhibiting at World of Industry, Technology & Science (WoTS) 2026 at Jaarbeurs Utrecht.

From 22–25 September, WoTS brought together professionals from across industry, electronics and laboratory technology for four days of innovation, knowledge sharing and networking.

For our team, it was a great opportunity to meet customers, partners and new faces, showcase some of the technologies we work with, and have plenty of conversations about the future of laboratory environments.

A stand built around innovation

This year’s WoTS theme was all about innovation, and we wanted our stand to reflect that.

Visitors could explore a selection of Baker solutions while also experiencing something a little different. Our interactive F1-inspired experience invited visitors to compare the world of high-performance racing with the precision and performance required in a laboratory environment.

We also had an AI-powered photo experience, giving visitors the chance to take home a fun memory from their time at the Baker stand

Bringing technology to life

One of the highlights of the show was being able to demonstrate our equipment and speak directly with visitors about their applications and challenges.

From laboratory safety and containment to specialised laboratory equipment, the conversations at the stand covered a wide range of topics. Meeting people face-to-face gave us the opportunity to better understand what is important to laboratories today and what they are looking for as their needs continue to evolve.
